This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead and guide multiple branches to enhance the company's customer base and revenue generation.
• Oversee a revenue stream of at least $165 million and manage 1,000+ direct and indirect colleagues.
• Track and report progress towards set goals and suggest corrective measures as needed.
• Observe changes in business conditions and the competitive landscape at the market level.
• Evaluate market-level progress and implement actions to meet or surpass budget expectations.
• Gain insights into sales, operations, and quality challenges and opportunities through regular market visits.
• Identify and apply best practices throughout the organization.
• Build and maintain relationships with various external customers.
• Engage with management regarding sales, operational objectives, and other relevant matters.
• Oversee staff development initiatives, including enhancing bench strength, competency-based development plans, succession planning, job satisfaction, and retention.
• Enforce company personnel policies and adhere to staffing standards and training recommendations.
• Conduct interviews, hire staff, and establish performance development plans for colleagues.
• Facilitate performance discussions with colleagues.
• Provide assistance, guidance, leadership, and motivation to team members.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Travel as necessary.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably with a focus on business administration, engineering, human resources, or fire science.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five (5) years of experience in claims.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong financial and accounting acumen.
