Senior Demand Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop, integrate, and deliver forecasts tailored to specific accounts or brands for internal sales and operations planning, which includes replenishment data, point-of-sale information, promotional sales data, marketing strategies, manufacturing capacity, and updates on product distributions or deletions.

• Enhance the accuracy of demand forecasting for both internal and external clients, including selecting the most suitable algorithm for statistical predictions.

• Oversee and manage product history, ensuring precise forecasting and demand related to promotions.

• Examine internal demand stream data and classify it based on demand trends.

• Synchronize sales and marketing insights for each operational unit for incorporation into forecasting systems.

• Collaborate with sales teams, national sales accounts, marketing, research and development, and other relevant forecasting and planning departments.

• Assist in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), optimize inventory, fulfill customer needs, and facilitate data-driven business decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• At least 4 years of pertinent experience in demand planning and forecasting is required.

• Proficient in statistical forecasting, sales and operations planning (S&OP), demand analysis, inventory and replenishment planning, promotional forecasting, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, enhancing forecast accuracy, and making data-driven decisions.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Advanced skills in Excel are necessary.

• Knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese is a plus if not a native language.

• Familiarity with Power BI reporting and experience with the Blue Yonder planning system are valuable skills.
