This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• The analytics function acts as the driving force behind the data-centric Health Services Operating System.
• Develop and implement a Unified KPI & Operating Performance Dashboard.
• Capture efficiencies derived from automation and AI within analytics functions.
• Identify opportunities for business process enhancements across Health Services Operations to improve member health outcomes, reduce both administrative and medical expenses, and enhance member experience.
• Convert data, advanced analytics, and AI-driven insights into quantifiable business outcomes.
• Ensure the adoption of Analytics Domain architecture within Health Services Analytics.
• Lead the transition from legacy systems to contemporary cloud-based solutions.
• Define and take ownership of the Health Services Analytics North Star along with a phased implementation strategy.
• Establish and govern a consolidated analytics operating model, intake process, prioritization framework, data product strategy, governance model, enterprise metrics, transformation layer, and AI enablement roadmap.
• Execute an Analytics Product Roadmap and monitor value realization.
• Engage in operational governance forums for operational engines.
• Maintain a structured management system, including staff meetings, one-on-ones, skip-level meetings, roadmap updates, and organized operating rhythms.
• Design, build, and sustain a comprehensive KPI inventory for Health Services Operations.
• Provide the Unified KPI & Operating Performance Dashboard as the definitive source of truth.
• Create and manage a standardized transformation layer that includes metric definitions, pipelines, business logic, enrichment layers, and quality assurance checks.
• Transition work towards advanced analytics, predictive models, AI-enabled workflows, and proactive intelligence.
• Develop and implement the AI enablement roadmap.
• Set up automated reporting, self-service dashboards, and decision-support tools.
• Lead the development of predictive models and AI/ML use cases.
• Manage TCOC connectivity analytics, quantifying, tracking, and validating affordability opportunities.
• Support subfunction lever playbooks with definitions for KPI, cost categories, cost mechanisms, and analytics cadence.
• Build, lead, and nurture the Health Services Analytics team.
• Define the staffing model, workforce composition, onshore/offshore/vendor distribution, and productivity expectations.
• Upskill, reorganize, and reconstruct the analytics talent pyramid.
• Establish leadership development plans, conduct talent assessments, and implement performance management systems.
• Report directly to the COO of Health Services and collaborate with the Chief Data Officer.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Over 15 years of progressive experience in healthcare analytics, actuarial science, data science, or enterprise analytics leadership.
• More than 8 years of senior leadership experience managing analytical teams and enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing analytics operating models.
• Strong executive presence with the capability to influence senior leadership across functions.
• Demonstrated ability to translate analytical insights into measurable business results.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (F.S.A.) or an equivalent advanced credential (preferred).
• Advanced degree (master’s or higher) in a quantitative or business-related discipline (preferred).
• Experience within a health insurance payer organization (preferred).
• Experience collaborating with enterprise data organizations (preferred).
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.) (preferred).
• Experience in developing recruiting strategies, talent programs, and mentoring team members (preferred).
• Experience in integrating AI-enabled analytics solutions into business workflows (preferred).
