This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the commercial marketing strategy for the company's CAR-T portfolio targeting both current and future autoimmune indications.
• Create and guide the overall marketing strategy and commercial vision.
• Build strategic capabilities, infrastructure, and ensure organizational readiness.
• Define objectives for launches, prioritize customer needs, establish brand positioning, develop messaging, outline channel strategies, create unbranded educational content, define promotional approaches, and set measurement criteria.
• Convert clinical data, market research, competitive intelligence, and customer insights into actionable marketing strategies.
• Gain a deep understanding of patient journeys, referral ecosystems, treatment pathways, and adoption challenges related to autoimmune diseases.
• Lead the marketing team during the company's inaugural product launch and create a replicable launch model.
• Set performance metrics for launches and refine strategies based on market feedback, customer behavior, competitive actions, and new data.
• Develop post-launch strategies and unique lifecycle strategies for additional indications, patient populations, and disease contexts.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Sales, Regulatory, and Legal/Compliance teams.
• Build capabilities for customer and market insights.
• Offer commercial insights to senior leadership and the executive team.
• Assemble and lead a high-performing marketing organization.
• Identify necessary capabilities, talent, agency partnerships, and infrastructure.
• Set objectives, define operating processes, and establish performance metrics.
• Foster a culture of accountability, strategic thought, collaboration, and agile execution.
• Over 15 years of progressively responsible experience in commercial/marketing roles within the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Extensive experience in specialty, rare diseases, hematology, immunology, or other complex therapeutic markets.
• Proven track record of personally leading a successful U.S. product launch from pre-launch through commercialization.
• Experience in developing commercialization strategies for innovative therapies, ideally CAR-T, cell therapy, gene therapy, or other highly specialized treatments.
• Demonstrated ability to create multi-indication and lifecycle strategies for pharmaceutical or biotechnology assets.
• Background in building or significantly transforming a marketing organization in a growth-stage or emerging biotech setting.
• Strong grasp of commercialization, brand strategy, market development, customer segmentation, both personal and digital engagement, market research, forecasting, and promotional strategies.
• Capability to translate intricate clinical/scientific data into distinct commercial positioning.
• Experience working with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Market Access, Regulatory, Sales, and executive leadership.
• Awareness of treatment, referral, reimbursement, and healthcare-provider ecosystems pertinent to specialty and cell therapies.
• Insight into the challenges of launching innovative or highly specialized therapies.
• Outstanding strategic thinking and a proactive approach to execution.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong executive presence.
• Ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
