This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Oversee the Specialty Pharmacy and Wholesaler Channel Management division within the US Market Access team.
β’ Lead a team focused on strategizing, contracting, and managing performance for wholesaler and specialty pharmacy accounts.
β’ Create, negotiate, and implement distribution agreements for wholesalers and contracts for specialty pharmacy networks.
β’ Collaborate with the USMA Strategy team to convert market access strategies into execution plans tailored to specific channels.
β’ Establish and nurture senior-level relationships with customers in the wholesaler and specialty pharmacy sectors.
β’ Observe changes in the specialty pharmacy and wholesaler landscape and adjust channel strategies accordingly.
β’ Ensure adherence to governance and maintain high-quality decision-making in channel contracting and operations.
β’ Lead, mentor, and hold managers accountable for fostering an inclusive, engaged, and compliant team culture.
β’ Represent Pfizer in industry and trade association activities related to distribution and specialty pharmacy channels.
β’ Collaborate with USMA Strategy, U.S. Commercial product teams, Trade & Distribution, Legal, Medical Affairs, Policy, Digital, and Finance.
β’ Act as Pfizer's representative externally with customers and internally with senior leadership.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is required.
β’ A minimum of 15 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree; 13 years with an MBA/MS/MPH/master's degree; or 10 years with a PhD or JD.
β’ Proven experience in wholesaler and/or specialty pharmacy channel management, contracting, or trade relations in the healthcare/pharma industry.
β’ A track record of translating US healthcare policy and distribution trends into practical channel strategies.
β’ Strong business and financial acumen, alongside negotiation and analytical skills.
β’ Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to coach, develop talent, and foster an inclusive team culture.
β’ Capability to navigate ambiguity and lead through changes in channels and policies.
β’ Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer.
β’ Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
β’ U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available currently or in the future.
β’ Travel requirements are estimated at 25β35%.
