This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
β’ Take charge of Nivoda's comprehensive marketing strategy, aligning company objectives with a growth model, channels, programs, and staffing.
β’ Create and nurture a global marketing team, encompassing recruitment, structuring, leveling, systems, briefs, and feedback mechanisms.
β’ Oversee demand generation and pipeline contributions for both retailers and suppliers.
β’ Establish a measurement framework that includes attribution, funnel instrumentation, customer acquisition cost (CAC), payback, segmentation, geography, and reporting.
β’ Approach marketing as a portfolio of experiments, identifying leading indicators and reallocating resources based on performance outcomes.
β’ Manage positioning and product marketing across diamonds, gemstones, melee, bridal, finished jewelry, payments, and logistics.
β’ Develop the category narrative for Nivoda as the essential operating system for the jewelry sector.
β’ Propel lifecycle and retention marketing in collaboration with Product, focusing on onboarding, activation, reactivation, and share-of-wallet growth.
β’ Collaborate with Sales and Revenue leadership on segmentation, ideal customer profile (ICP) definition, territory support, and sales enablement initiatives.
β’ Adapt go-to-market strategies across the US, UK, India, Europe, and Asia while ensuring brand consistency.
β’ Manage the marketing budget, providing justification for expenditures and returns.
β’ Represent the marketing function at the leadership and board levels.
β’ Report directly to the President and participate as a member of the senior leadership team.
β’ Extensive experience leading marketing efforts in B2B SMB, specifically targeting owner-operators and small enterprises.
β’ Proven history of building marketing teams and functions from inception.
β’ Experience as the first or second marketing leader, responsible for team hiring, technology stack selection, and operational model creation.
β’ Strong, hands-on data and growth orientation.
β’ Proficient in constructing growth models, instrumenting funnels, executing experiments with statistical rigor, and analyzing CAC, payback, conversion rates by stage, and cohort behavior.
β’ Demonstrated accountability for a pipeline or revenue target.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge across performance, content, product marketing, lifecycle, and brand strategies.
β’ Experience in hiring, managing managers, making tough personnel and priority decisions, and collaborating with founders, CEOs, or boards.
β’ Capability to assess channels and articulate go-to-market strategies.
β’ Comfort with ambiguity and functioning in a low-hierarchy environment.
β’ Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills.
β’ Ability to work across time zones in a globally distributed team.

β’ Nice to have: background in a traditional, offline-heavy sector undergoing digital transformation.
