VP Finance, Wellbeing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Direct the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for essential Wellbeing functions while collaborating with Finance and Wellbeing leadership to enhance operational efficiency.

• Monitor unit cost metrics, pinpoint cost drivers, and initiate performance enhancement projects.

• Assess investments in tools and staffing.

• Create financial models for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), renewals, and client submissions.

• Provide financial supervision for significant client implementations.

• Develop and sustain pricing frameworks and detailed pricing models for Wellbeing services.

• Review vendor contracts and outsourcing strategies for financial effectiveness and scalability.

• Collaborate with Commercial and Product teams regarding pricing implications.

• Contribute to strategic initiative planning and decision-making as a member of the Wellbeing Leadership Team.

• Assist in operational capacity planning.

• Establish and monitor Wellbeing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as member engagement, participation rates, product margins, retention, and renewal economics.

• Convert performance metrics into actionable decisions for leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field.

• MBA or CPA is preferred.

• Progressive experience in finance leadership, including FP&A, pricing, and business collaboration.

• Background in wellbeing, health, benefits, or healthcare SaaS and service industries is preferred.

• Proficiency in advanced financial modeling, including pricing models and scenario analysis.

• Experience in developing models for RFPs, renewals, and client-specific proposals.

• Expertise in unit cost analysis, margin management, and capacity planning.

• Familiarity with engagement, participation, retention, and renewal metrics in a platform and services model.

• Experience in evaluating vendor contracts and outsourcing strategies.
