Finance & Strategy Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop a long-term strategy for Stripe’s monetization flywheel utilizing pricing data insights and frontline execution.

• Establish, manage, and enhance the workflow for evaluating current pricing, uncovering growth prospects, and formalizing pricing playbooks.

• Collaborate with teams to design data and self-service tools that automate or proactively detect pricing opportunities.

• Propel ongoing enhancements to pricing data, systems, and operational methodologies.

• Exercise sound judgment with incomplete or imperfect data and devise innovative analytical methods.

• Advocate for new metrics, processes, and comprehensive pricing strategies while promoting organizational acceptance.

• Work alongside Engineering, Product, Finance, and Sales to compile and present insights and growth opportunities to frontline stakeholders.

• Conduct in-depth analysis of complex and ambiguous pricing queries using data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of pertinent experience in product pricing, deal pricing/strategy, GTM finance, or similar roles.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and execute projects across multiple functions (e.g., collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Finance teams).

• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proven capacity to ask insightful questions and apply sound business judgment when engaging with diverse stakeholders.

• Preferred: Experience in dynamic environments (e.g., high-growth fintech, technology, or management consulting).

• Preferred: Capability to sustain high performance under tight deadlines, with a proactive approach to completing tasks.

• Preferred: Familiarity with the product and infrastructure ecosystem at Stripe or similar complex platform enterprises.
