This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Perform research and analysis on equipment to create accurate assessments of residual and collateral values for proposed transactions, including those involving complex and specialized equipment.
β’ Draft comprehensive valuation reports and conclusions for internal credit and approval evaluations.
β’ Examine market data and industry trends to inform valuation, residual, and underwriting decisions.
β’ Oversee asset performance and residual risk across designated portfolios.
β’ Manage the return, storage, inspection, repair, marketing, and sale of off-lease equipment.
β’ Enhance portfolio value through remarketing, renewal, and early termination strategies.
β’ Build and sustain relationships with external appraisers, remarketers, and other industry stakeholders.
β’ Act as a senior resource in equipment management and collaborate with internal teams on valuation assumptions, credit policies, and lease documentation standards.
β’ Offer senior-level advice to Credit, Portfolio Management, and Originations regarding equipment values, residual risks, asset vulnerabilities, transaction structures, and disposition strategies.
β’ Provide valuation updates, portfolio assessments, and asset-related reports for management.
β’ Maintain professional expertise through ongoing education and industry training.
β’ Ensure adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
β’ Carry out additional duties and projects as assigned.
β’ Bachelorβs degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience in equipment management.
β’ At least 10 years of experience in asset management within a financial institution or operating lessor.
β’ Proven ability to independently evaluate risk across diverse equipment types and lease structures.
β’ Proficiency in financial calculators and software, including Supertrump, TValue, and Microsoft Office.
β’ Strong analytical and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
β’ Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting valuation conclusions clearly and convincingly.
β’ Self-driven, results-oriented, and adept at managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
β’ ASA (American Society of Appraisers) designation or active candidate status toward certification is preferred.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent is required.
