This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
β’ Manage activities related to provider networks and contracting.
β’ Direct the strategy for provider networks, focusing on access analysis and operational efficiency.
β’ Assist decision-makers by providing analyses related to reimbursement and unit cost management.
β’ Supervise coordination and negotiations within the contracting department.
β’ Ensure the development of provider networks in markets targeted for expansion.
β’ Assess costs, coverage, and growth of provider networks, suggesting opportunities for expansion.
β’ Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities for network costs and provider contracts across product lines.
β’ Review contracting rates for providers to ensure alignment with the broader company strategy.
β’ Engage in initiatives related to unit costs and selective contracting.
β’ Define the strategic vision, objectives, policies, and procedures for the department.
β’ Develop, implement, and uphold standards for production and quality.
β’ Aid in market expansion and M&A efforts through the analysis of provider contracts for due diligence.
β’ Support the health plan CEO and/or COO in key provider relations and strategy initiatives.
β’ Carry out other assigned duties as necessary.
β’ Adhere to all established policies and standards.
β’ A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.
β’ An MBA or MHA degree is preferred.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in network development, provider relations, or contracting management in a healthcare or managed care setting is required.
β’ Prior management experience, including responsibilities for hiring, training, task assignment, and performance management of staff.
β’ A valid driver's license is necessary.
β’ Equivalent experience gained through the successful execution of relevant duties and skills reflective of this role's level.
