VP Corporate Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee the corporate development strategy of the company.

• Identify opportunities for inorganic growth that enhance capabilities, accelerate innovation, and open new markets.

• Lead the assessment and execution of acquisitions, investments, and strategic transactions from initial evaluation to integration.

• Provide counsel to executive leadership and the Board of Directors regarding corporate development efforts, market trends, competitive dynamics, and strategic investment opportunities.

• Collaborate with the CEO, Chief Strategy Officer, CFO, and other business leaders on strategic growth priorities and capital allocation strategies.

• Drive the realization of strategic and financial value from completed transactions.

• Assess transaction performance against anticipated outcomes and integrate lessons learned.

• Identify and assess alliances, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12–15+ years of progressive experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, or other related strategic leadership roles.

• Proven success in leading complex M&A transactions and enterprise-level strategic growth initiatives.

• Experience in supporting executive leadership teams and Boards of Directors in strategic investment and growth decision-making.

• Strong background in enterprise software, SaaS, information management, or technology-driven organizations.

• Demonstrated ability to transform market insights and business strategy into actionable, high-impact growth opportunities.

• Strategic enterprise mindset.

• Strong financial acumen, encompassing valuation, investment analysis, capital allocation, and transaction structuring.

• Executive presence with a proven record of influencing senior leaders and Boards of Directors.

• Ability to navigate uncertainty while balancing strategic thought with disciplined, results-oriented execution.

• Demonstrated capability in leading complex, high-stakes initiatives within dynamic, fast-paced environments.
