This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Safeguard and enhance existing revenue from EV services by cultivating strategic customer relationships and expanding accounts.
• Discover and target new customers, service offerings, partnerships, and additional revenue streams.
• Formulate and refine the EV commercial strategy in response to market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive movements.
• Build relationships, create opportunities, negotiate contracts, and finalize strategic agreements.
• Deliver actionable insights on the EV market, emerging prospects, and competitive challenges to executive leadership.
• Lead a small Business Development team while actively participating as a player-coach.
• Cultivate and manage senior-level relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Legal, and leadership to create commercially viable and executable solutions.
• Oversee strategic proposals, RFP responses, bids, and complex customer solutions.
• Maintain diligent pipeline management, forecasting, CRM practices, and commercial KPIs.
• Represent Pearce with customers, OEMs, developers, industry partners, and at significant industry events.
• Over 10 years of proven experience in business development or commercial sales within EV charging, energy infrastructure, or related power markets.
• Demonstrated success as both a hunter and farmer, generating new opportunities while retaining and expanding strategic accounts.
• Comprehensive understanding of the EV charging ecosystem.
• Proven track record in selling recurring services, maintenance, or long-term O&M agreements in the EV or energy infrastructure sectors.
• Experience in developing opportunities, navigating complex negotiations, and finalizing strategic agreements.
• Established relationships and credibility at the senior level within the EV charging and energy infrastructure ecosystem.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including the ability to evaluate opportunities, profitability, risk, and strategic value.
• Experience leading a small business development or account team while actively engaging in the market.
• Excellent executive-level communication and relationship-building skills.
• Capability to collaborate across Operations, Finance, Legal, and executive leadership.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, shifting markets, and evolving customer needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% as necessary.
• MBA is preferred.
