📋 Description

• Oversee the Bill Review Services organization, ensuring operational performance, service delivery, financial outcomes, and departmental goals are met.

• Collaborate with the EVP of Payment Integrity to define strategic direction, annual operational objectives, and long-term growth strategies.

• Establish priorities and make strategic choices regarding resources, structures, capacities, and business trade-offs.

• Lead, mentor, and develop senior leaders while setting clear expectations and accountability.

• Foster a high-performing leadership culture focused on ownership, teamwork, sound decision-making, and continuous improvement.

• Monitor operational and financial health by reviewing KPIs, service levels, quality outcomes, budgets, and other performance indicators.

• Propel strategic initiatives by coordinating leaders and resources, addressing competing priorities, eliminating obstacles, and ensuring accountability.

• Collaborate with executive and cross-functional leaders to align operational strategies with organizational goals, client commitments, technology initiatives, and growth objectives.

• Predict operational risks, capacity limitations, and evolving business requirements.

• Enhance organizational capability through succession planning, leadership development, workforce planning, and organizational design.

• Act as the executive operational leader during client executive meetings, enterprise initiatives, and cross-functional leadership discussions.

• Advocate for operational excellence and ongoing improvement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, payment integrity, revenue cycle, bill review, managed care, or a similar operational setting.

• More than 5 years of senior leadership experience overseeing multiple functions through Directors or other senior leaders.

• Proven track record of managing complex operations through growth, transformation, or organizational scaling while enhancing operational and financial performance.

• Strong business and financial acumen.

• Experience leveraging performance metrics and data to establish priorities, make informed decisions, and enhance results.

• Demonstrated capability in building, developing, and holding high-performing leadership teams accountable.

• Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills.

• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and with senior stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Experience in payment integrity, bill review, claims processing, workers’ compensation, group health, or related healthcare services is advantageous.

• A Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) is a plus.

• Must be based in the US.

• A quiet workspace free from distractions is required.

• A reliable internet connection is necessary.

• Compliance with company security protocols, including the use of VPNs, secure passwords, and company-approved devices/software.

• Ability to adhere to company policies, such as HIPAA regulations.
