VP, AWS Practice Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AWS practice.

• Create frameworks, solutions, accelerators, and templates aimed at enhancing delivery efficiency, automation, and overall value.

• Establish and nurture a strategic partnership with AWS in North America.

• Collaborate with LATAM AWS leaders to synchronize relationships and exchange best practices with the U.S.

• Drive business development related to AWS, including client engagement, solution design, and proposal creation.

• Work with AWS to develop joint pipelines for both existing and potential clients.

• Serve as an AWS subject-matter expert, remaining informed about platform updates, best practices, and emerging trends.

• Partner with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to foster growth in the AWS practice and enhance client satisfaction.

• Deliver thought leadership through industry publications, speaking engagements, and conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a leadership position within a consulting firm, with a focus on AWS cloud solutions, particularly for Data/AI projects.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS architecture, implementation best practices, and cloud infrastructure concepts.

• Experience in leading content-rich workshops and discussions with C-suite stakeholders, concentrating on industry trends, perspectives on specific challenges, and innovations.

• Proven track record of fostering business growth through strategic initiatives, client relationship management, and solution innovation.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to varied audiences.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• AWS and relevant cloud-platform certifications are advantageous.

• An advanced degree is preferred.
