VP Associate, Capital Market

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and oversee Kiwi's warehouse facilities along with borrowing base reporting.

• Guarantee accuracy, punctuality, and complete compliance with facility covenants and eligibility requirements.

• Cultivate and manage relationships with current and potential institutional lenders, which include credit funds, banks, and DFIs.

• Negotiate new facilities, amendments, and terms.

• Anticipate funding needs in alignment with loan origination plans and manage the available capacity across facilities.

• Collaborate with Risk, Finance, and Legal teams to design facilities and covenants that facilitate growth while safeguarding the balance sheet.

• Develop materials for lender due diligence, board updates, and discussions with investors regarding funding strategies.

• Keep an eye on the LATAM and US consumer credit funding landscape to uncover new capital partners and structures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in capital markets, treasury, or funding roles within a fintech lender, or on the lender-facing side of a credit fund, bank, or DFI that serves fintech/consumer lending clients.

• Direct, practical experience with warehouse facilities, borrowing bases, or forward-flow arrangements.

• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish at a professional level.

• Strong quantitative abilities and financial modeling expertise.

• Comfortable collaborating closely with Risk and Legal teams on covenant structuring.

• Located in (or willing to relocate to) Mexico, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, or Argentina.
