Regional Vice President – Hereditary Cancer Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement strategic plans aimed at achieving sales objectives and broadening the customer base.

• Recruit, nurture, and retain high-caliber talent at the Account Executive and Area Director levels.

• Design and execute effective sales strategies for the team.

• Lead by effectively communicating the vision, providing active coaching, and facilitating development.

• Evaluate sales performance against targets and take corrective measures when necessary.

• Offer supervision through field visits and direct observations.

• Maintain a competitive edge to create and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders from various departments.

• Take ownership of and finalize accounts.

• Enhance menu utilization within existing accounts.

• Negotiate and oversee contracts.

• Develop and present engaging presentations.

• Organize and assist with trade shows.

• Manage customer information within the company’s CRM system.

• Contribute to the development and leadership of company initiatives.

• Boost laboratory sales revenue and profitability through market penetration and promotion of Ambry's genetic diagnostic testing services and technology offerings.

• Advocate for the clinical and financial advantages of products to physicians, nurses, genetic counselors, laboratory personnel, hospitals, specialty clinics, and physician offices.

• Manage intricate customer relationships and successfully drive complex sales to closure.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree or its equivalent.

• Over 5 years of leadership experience in laboratory services supporting clinicians and hospitals, or equivalent internal leadership experience within the organization.

• Proven success in building and leading teams of sales leaders and sales representatives.

• Capability to sell technically intricate products.

• Expertise in demand generation across a large geographical area.

• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong time management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com.

• Willingness to engage in national travel (50%+ travel).
