This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.
• Act as the primary account manager for designated member organizations, particularly large and/or intricate health systems.
• Formulate and implement comprehensive strategies that promote growth, retention, and value realization across Premier’s array of solutions and services.
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with C-suite executives and essential stakeholders.
• Grasp member business objectives and position Premier as an essential partner in enhancing operational, clinical, and financial performance.
• Serve as the main point of contact for members and facilitate coordination among cross-functional Premier teams.
• Meet specified growth, retention, and member value targets.
• Develop and implement tailored strategic account plans.
• Oversee the executive engagement rhythm, which includes executive business reviews.
• Create reference accounts, success stories, and networking opportunities.
• Formulate and implement account-specific growth strategies, including cross-selling and up-selling.
• Identify and rank expansion opportunities within Premier’s offerings.
• Direct commercial strategy and synchronize sales efforts.
• Present solutions to executive stakeholders while conveying business value, financial impact, and ROI.
• Develop and manage renewal strategies 12–18 months ahead.
• Identify and engage champions, influencers, and potential detractors.
• Communicate the value delivered in terms of financial, operational, and clinical outcomes.
• Maintain member satisfaction and engagement while proactively addressing issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to provide integrated enterprise-level solutions.
• Offer informal leadership and guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Represent Premier in high-level executive forums.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Proven ability to engage and sway senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.
• Strong financial and business insight, including the capacity to articulate ROI and value.
• Experience in managing executive relationships.
• Proficient in strategic thinking and account planning.
• Knowledgeable in consultative sales and commercial strategy.
• Financial acumen and the ability to articulate value propositions.
• Experience in cross-functional leadership and collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Significant (12 years) experience in account management, consulting, sales, or healthcare strategy.
• Experience collaborating with C-suite executives in complex organizations or enterprise accounts.
• Background in consultative selling and strategy formulation.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Capability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Flexibility to adapt and shift priorities rapidly to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in operating computer software and programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences both in-person and through electronic means.
• Capacity to work collaboratively in close quarters with colleagues and handle varying interruptions.
• Willingness to travel 41–60% within the United States.
