This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Act as the enterprise account owner for designated member organizations, including large and/or intricate health systems.
• Create and implement integrated strategies aimed at fostering growth, retention, and realizing value throughout Premier’s suite of solutions and services.
• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator for members.
• Facilitate collaboration among various Premier teams, including Sales, GPO/Supply Chain, Technology, Advisory, Customer Success, AI/Analytics, and other departments.
• Achieve specified growth, retention, and member value targets.
• Formulate, sustain, and implement comprehensive strategic account plans.
• Lead the cadence of executive engagement, which includes executive business reviews.
• Create reference accounts, success narratives, and networking avenues.
• Enhance cross-sell and up-sell performance within existing accounts.
• Identify and prioritize expansion opportunities across Premier’s entire portfolio.
• Direct commercial strategy and synchronize sales initiatives.
• Present solutions to executive stakeholders and convey business value, financial implications, and ROI.
• Develop and oversee renewal strategies 12 to 18 months ahead of schedule.
• Identify and manage champions, influencers, and potential detractors.
• Communicate the value delivered in terms of financial, operational, and clinical results.
• Ensure member satisfaction and engagement while proactively addressing issues.
• Provide informal leadership and direction among internal stakeholders.
• Represent Premier in executive-level forums to enhance relationships and market presence.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.
• Strong financial and business acumen, with the capability to articulate ROI and value.
• Experience in managing executive relationships.
• Strategic thinking and account planning skills.
• Proficiency in consultative sales and commercial strategy.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to articulate value.
• Skills in cross-functional leadership and collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Extensive experience (12 years) in account management, consulting, sales, or healthcare strategy.
• Experience working with C-suite of complex organizations or enterprise accounts.
• Background in consultative selling and strategy formulation.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Flexibility to adapt and change priorities quickly; meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Proficient in operating computer programs and software.
• Effective communication skills with audiences in both in-person and electronic formats.
• Regular day-to-day interaction with others (co-workers and/or the public).
• Capability to make independent decisions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a business environment, often in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions.
• Willingness to travel 41-60% within the US.
• Light physical work involved: exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount consistently.
