This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Overseeing and enhancing social media communications on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

• Consistently monitoring select social media accounts within the humanist, civil-society, and socio-political domains.

• Identifying appropriate content for reposting and further editorial development.

• Conducting research on pertinent topics, ongoing discussions, and awareness/action days.

• Creating original social media content and innovative formats.

• Preparing and producing posts, Stories, and Reels.

• Customizing content for target audiences across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

• Designing and modifying graphics and simple videos, such as those made with Canva.

• Assisting with editorial planning.

• Contributing ideas and expertise to enhance social media communication strategies.

• Collaborating closely with the national office.


⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience with social media and a solid understanding of platform-specific content and formats.

• Experience in creating or managing social media content, whether professionally or on a voluntary basis.

• A keen awareness of relevant topics, engaging content, and contemporary social media formats.

• A strong interest in socio-political issues.

• An alignment with humanist values and human rights principles.

• A good linguistic sense and a proficient command of German, both written and spoken.

• Confident use of standard digital tools.

• A structured, independent, and reliable working style.

• Experience with Canva or similar applications is a plus.

• Additional experience with Reels, short videos, community management, social media strategy, or analysis of social media metrics is especially welcomed.

• No specific degree or formal training in communications or social media is necessary.
