Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant – Absence Operations

📋 Description

• Evaluate, analyze, and interpret vocational and medical data.

• Collaborate with claims professionals and other resources to evaluate vocational information and provide insights on duties and demands.

• Engage with employers, claimants, healthcare providers, and internal resources to promote return-to-work and stay-at-work services.

• Utilize vocational expertise through assessment and synthesis of claim file information.

• Clearly communicate complex vocational issues both in writing and verbally.

• Identify, design, coordinate, and execute intricate vocational rehabilitation and return-to-work strategies.

• Collect relevant vocational and medical documentation to guide file direction.

• Conduct thorough forensic vocational assessments.

• Mentor claims professionals to enhance vocational knowledge.

• Achieve quality and quantity performance metrics in a dynamic environment.

• Cultivate broad business and leadership capabilities.

• Maintain professional certifications and keep informed of trends in the vocational sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or a related discipline.

• Certification in rehabilitation counseling, disability management, or case management is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of vocational experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
