Virtual Teacher, French

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five or more hours each scheduled instructional day.

• Develop an engaging and organized virtual classroom environment.

• Utilize student performance data to tailor instruction, identify learning gaps, and modify teaching strategies.

• Offer prompt and constructive feedback on student assignments.

• Keep precise records of student progress.

• Establish connections with students and their families through proactive communication.

• Work collaboratively with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality support for students.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline.

• Valid state teaching license in Ohio and/or Pennsylvania for Global Languages: French for grades 6-12.

• Experience in both virtual and in-person teaching environments.

• Familiarity with the unique challenges of a live online classroom.

• Capability to deliver live, on-camera instruction for five or more consecutive hours each instructional day.

• Practical experience with online learning platforms and virtual teaching tools.

• Proficiency in standard productivity software.

• Ability to analyze student performance data and adjust live instruction accordingly.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and self-management.

• Effective time management skills for handling a full student caseload in a remote setting.

• Dedication to maintaining certification and staying updated on K-12 curriculum, technology, and best practices.
