Virtual Teacher, CTE-Business & Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide live, on-camera synchronous instruction for a minimum of five hours daily on each scheduled instructional day.

• Develop an engaging and well-structured virtual classroom environment.

• Utilize student performance data to tailor instruction, identify learning deficiencies, and modify teaching strategies.

• Offer timely and constructive feedback on students' work.

• Keep accurate records to ensure students and families are informed and on track.

• Foster relationships with students and families through professional and proactive communication.

• Work collaboratively with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality support for students.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline.

• Active teaching license in Idaho, Indiana, and/or Florida for CTE-Business & Technology grades 6-12.

• Experience in teaching within both virtual and in-person environments.

• Aptitude for managing the unique challenges of a live online classroom.

• Confidence and ability to engage effectively on camera.

• Capacity to teach live for five or more consecutive hours each instructional day.

• Practical experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software.

• Skill in analyzing student performance data to adjust live instruction accordingly.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong time management abilities to independently oversee a full student caseload in a remote setting.

• Dedication to professional development, maintaining certifications, and staying updated on K-12 curricula, technology, and best practices.

• Openness to taking on evolving responsibilities as per business requirements.
