Virtual School Counselor, K-12

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual school counseling services that foster students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development.

• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and compile reports.

• Develop and implement intervention plans and recommendations.

• Record sessions and monitor progress towards IEP goals with the level of detail required by districts when necessary.

• Collaborate with families, school staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators to ensure alignment on student progress.

• Timely inform campus and district contacts if a student misses a session.

• Immediately alert campus and district contacts regarding any threats or safety issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active Arizona School Counselor certificate is required.

• Must maintain good standing with no disciplinary actions on any held licenses.

• Experience utilizing virtual platforms for assessment and delivery within a school/IEP context.

• A reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup is necessary: including a webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private, distraction-free workspace.

• Must be comfortable working collaboratively in a remote setting with classroom teachers, case managers, and families.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
