Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient mental health services via Brave Health’s telehealth program.

• Provide therapy to patients of all ages, including adolescents aged 13–17.

• Diagnose and manage mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Perform comprehensive assessments.

• Collaborate with clients to reach their treatment objectives.

• Utilize telehealth software, video communication, and internal collaboration tools.

• Maintain approximately 30 patient-facing hours weekly, typically seeing 6–8 patients each day.

• Complete clinical documentation in real-time during patient sessions.

• Adhere to a fixed Monday–Friday schedule, working either from 9am–6pm or 10am–7pm CDT.

• Potential to acquire additional state licenses as Brave Health grows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and appropriate licensure required.

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• Must have a private, secure workspace at home to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Proficiency in English is required; Spanish language skills are preferred, and proficiency in other languages is advantageous.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable with telehealth technology, video communication, and internal tools.

• Proven experience collaborating with clients to meet their goals.

• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments.

• Must hold independent licensure, such as LPC or an equivalent credential.

• Willingness to pursue additional state licenses as necessary.

• Recent experience in one-on-one psychotherapy.

• Willingness to provide therapy to adolescents aged 13–17.

• Capability to complete approximately 30 patient-facing hours weekly, typically seeing 6–8 patients each day.

• Ability to document clinical notes concurrently during patient sessions.

• Commitment to a fixed Monday–Friday schedule.
