Virtual Primary Care Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct telehealth consultations, which include video appointments and message-based care.

• Virtually manage patients with a diverse range of needs, encompassing acute, chronic, and wellness visits.

• Implement established work and clinical protocols to ensure evidence-based care.

• Engage in ongoing education through weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning opportunities.

• Collaborate with colleagues and leadership during daily team huddles.

• Provide oversight in collaboration with 4–8 NP or PA team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully completed an accredited residency program in Internal or Family Medicine.

• Have practiced in a primary care or virtual primary care environment for at least 2 of the past 5 years.

• Board Certified in either Internal or Family Medicine.

• Possess an active state license in California, New York, or Washington D.C.

• Hold a minimum of 15 state licenses and be willing to obtain and maintain additional licenses with assistance from the One Medical Credentialing Team.

• Capability to effectively utilize technology to provide high-quality care.

• Clinical expertise in evidence-based primary care.

• Strong passion for human-centered primary care practices.

• Proficient in communicating with and caring for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Willingness to accept feedback and engage in self-reflection.

• Ability to navigate uncertain circumstances while interacting with patients and colleagues.

• Preparedness to adjust personal and interpersonal behaviors to address patient needs.

• Flexibility and adaptability in delivering care and evolving virtual care models.
