Transcription Specialist – Amharic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate audio recordings and accurately transcribe the spoken material.

• Enhance transcripts to ensure high-quality data that supports advanced language models.

• Convert audio recordings into text with exceptional precision.

• Transcribe speech exactly as it is articulated, including pauses, filler words, repetitions, and incomplete sentences.

• Include timestamps that correspond with the audio.

• Distinguish and label different speakers in dialogues.

• Note non-speech occurrences such as laughter, background noise, or unclear audio.

• Guarantee high-quality output in transcription.

• Complete task units while adhering to the specified quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding and familiarity with spelling conventions in the Amharic language.

• Must be fluent in the Ethiopian dialect and can work from any location.

• Good reading comprehension skills in English.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Capability to review examples and apply guidelines to the provided data.

• Previous experience in transcription.

• Prior experience working with audio data.
