RCM Associate – Charge Posting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Input charges and claims into customer PM systems and Amperos platforms utilizing clinical documentation.

• Accurately post and manage charges.

• Ensure coding accuracy, modifiers, and medical necessity are verified prior to claim submission.

• Investigate bundling rules, frequency limitations, and clinical editing logic to avert denials.

• Identify and escalate claim errors prior to submission.

• Monitor charge submission status and oversee claim resubmissions.

• Maintain organized records of charge-related activities.

• Process payments, adjustments, and denials from ERAs, EOBs, and lockbox files.

• Reconcile daily batches with bank deposits.

• Address missing or mismatched ERAs.

• Highlight underpayments and denials.

• Resolve unapplied cash, credit balances, refunds, and recoupments, as well as transfer balances.

• Assist customers in submitting claims accurately and efficiently.

• Support Amperos automation systems as product and customer priorities evolve.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, charge entry, or coding verification.

• Strong understanding of medical coding.

• Familiarity with leading PM systems such as eCW, ModMed, Athenahealth, and others.

• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance claim submission requirements and pre-authorization processes.

• Ability to detect coding errors and clinical editing issues before claim submission.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable in documentation and follow-through.

• Capable of working US hours (9am–6pm ET).

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where processes and priorities may shift.

• Must reside in India / India (Remote).
