This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a physician’s personal assistant and essential link for managing electronic medical records in real-time.

• Interpret symptoms, document doctor-patient interactions, and complete clinical charts.

• Draft History of Present Illness (HPIs), Physical Exams (PEs), and Review of Systems (ROSs).

• Analyze laboratory reports.

• Provide immediate EHR charting assistance to physicians as a charting assistant.

• Collaborate directly with physicians during patient care documentation.

• This position allows for remote work.

⛳️ Requirements

• Recent experience as a Medical Scribe, Medical Assistant, or Medical Transcriptionist, OR completion of courses/training in Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Terminology.

• Other relevant clinical experience may be taken into account.

• Must successfully pass an initial medical terminology assessment.

• Completion of the IKS scribe training program and passing all required assessments is mandatory.

• Capability to work from home in a designated HIPAA-compliant workspace.

• A secure and reliable internet connection at home is essential.

• Availability for full, uninterrupted day shifts of 8 to 10 hours, Monday through Friday, during outpatient office hours between 7 A.M. and 7 P.M. EST, CST, or PST.

• Commitment to a minimum of 10 months of employment.

• Proficient computer, typing, and communication skills are required.

• Typing speed of 40 words per minute with 90% accuracy; a typing test will be administered.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Must currently reside within the borders of the United States.
