Virtual Functional Medicine Physician – DCs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, which include gathering medical history, conducting physical examinations, and administering diagnostic tests.

• Create individualized treatment strategies tailored to the specific needs and medical conditions of patients.

• Prescribe nutraceuticals and/or medications, while monitoring their effectiveness over time.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.

• Offer counseling and education to patients regarding disease prevention and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

• Keep precise and current patient records utilizing electronic health record systems.

• Remain informed about advancements in medicine, research, and clinical trials within functional, integrative, and lifestyle medicine.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of two years' experience in functional medicine, including proficiency in functional medicine specialty testing/labs.

• Preferably experienced in functional and integrative medicine environments.

• Must possess (or be eligible to obtain) an Illinois license and any designated remote location license.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and engage with patients and other healthcare providers.

• A vibrant and approachable personality with a genuine passion for assisting others.

• A patient-first mindset, consistently delivering a 5-star level of service.

• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the ability to uphold patient confidentiality.
