This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Take ownership of instrumentation coverage for the AI sector by establishing necessary events and properties and facilitating implementation alongside product managers and engineering teams.
β’ Establish feature-level KPIs and success metrics for Voice AI, Conversation AI, AI Employee, and Ask AI.
β’ Collaborate with the Experimentation & Causal Inference lead to design and analyze AI experiments, including methodologies for non-deterministic systems.
β’ Differentiate genuine signals from instrumentation deficiencies, novelty effects, and data maturity issues.
β’ Determine measurement strategy, canonical metrics, instrumentation standards, and agreements within the AI analytics domain.
β’ Provide mentorship to analysts as the team expands.
β’ Convert insights into actionable recommendations for AI product managers and influence the product roadmap.
β’ Identify data gaps for Analytics Engineering and assist in shaping event taxonomy.
β’ Utilize AI tools like Claude for exploration, documentation, and analysis purposes.
β’ Create measurable instrumentation coverage, reliable feature-level KPIs, segmented adoption and quality assessments, thorough experiment evaluations, and establish an analytics foundation for future analysts.
β’ Over 7 years of experience in product analytics, data science, or applied statistics, with hands-on responsibility for metrics within a product area from start to finish.
β’ Strong instinct for instrumentation; experience in defining event tracking/taxonomy and integrating it into a product roadmap.
β’ Capability to establish success metrics for a product from the ground up and achieve stakeholder buy-in.
β’ Proficient in collaborating on experiments, including A/B design, setting guardrails, and interpreting results honestly.
β’ Proficient in SQL and have working knowledge of Python.
β’ Comfortable working in a Snowflake and dbt environment.
β’ Ability to work with imperfect, evolving data while utilizing governed sources.
β’ Cross-functional influence in a dynamic environment.
β’ Experience in measuring AI/ML or LLM-based product features, particularly in non-deterministic systems.
β’ Background in B2B SaaS, CRM, or product-led growth.
β’ Experience with conversational, voice, or agent/assistant products.
β’ Familiarity with Statsig or a similar experimentation platform.
β’ Exposure to AI-assisted analytics workflows.
β’ Global, remote-first organization.
