This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +9 more states.
• Provide patient care services using a remote technology platform.
• Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care independently, which includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health problem management, health counseling, and planning for patient disposition.
• Offer education and treatment focused on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.
• Assess patients aged 18 months and older with primary care needs, acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and those requiring transitional care.
• Counsel patients on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, safer sex practices, contraceptive care, and medication management.
• Educate patients on maintaining their health and address any patient care inquiries.
• Record all patient care activities in an EHR in accordance with MinuteClinic policies and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care with both internal and external colleagues, including those in the broader patient-centered medical home.
• Collaborate within a patient care team that includes Providers, Collaborative Physicians, paraprofessionals, Pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Operate independently, prioritize tasks, solve problems, take initiative, and advocate for patients and the practice.
• Commit to working three weekdays and every Saturday and Sunday, from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., totaling 40 hours each week.
• Possess a current unrestricted license in D.C., DE, FL, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, NH, OH, RI, or VT.
• Must hold a valid license in one of the specified states to be eligible.
• Have a minimum of two years of relevant medical experience or its equivalent.
• Completed a Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Hold current National Board Certification.
• State of Employment license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• Exhibit effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
• Show initiative, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Capable of working independently and practicing autonomously.
• Proficient in information management and technology.
• Able to collaborate effectively with professional colleagues.
• Depending on the market, proficiency in additional languages, including Spanish, may be necessary.
• Must have broadband connectivity and a quiet environment with a neutral background for remote care delivery.
• Ability to maintain patient privacy in accordance with CVSH guidelines.
• Competent in operating a computer and phone, articulating clearly, hearing patient responses, and reading screens and electronic devices.
• Willing to obtain additional licensure as required if hired.
