This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Perform remote inspections of vehicles by evaluating photos and live video feeds.
• Assess claims and vehicle damages.
• Draft estimates and create supplementary documentation.
• Manage total loss situations for a diverse range of vehicles.
• Engage with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, claimants, and other relevant parties.
• Investigate auto claims while interpreting policies to ascertain coverage.
• Analyze and negotiate settlements for claims.
• Utilize estimation tools, job aids, and settlement platforms effectively.
• Ensure timely and precise documentation of claims in the claims system.
• Safeguard the company's financial interests by executing policies in accordance with agreement terms.
• Provide customers with their preferred communication channels and keep them informed about the status of their claims.
• Participate in approximately eight weeks of onboarding, licensing, and role-specific training, which includes two weeks at the Dallas, Texas office.
• Minimum of 18 months of prior experience in auto collision estimating using CCC or Mitchell.
• Proven ability to develop detailed cost estimates for paint, bodywork, frame restoration, and mechanical repairs.
• Skilled in utilizing virtual inspection tools and computer applications.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate damages and produce precise estimates.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with customers and stakeholders.
• Capability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently in a remote work setting.
• Understanding of insurance policies and industry regulations pertaining to auto claims.
• Must be available to attend necessary virtual and in-person training sessions.
• Required to actively engage in virtual learning activities and successfully complete the training program.
• Must secure all necessary adjuster and/or appraiser licenses within 60 days of employment, if applicable.
• Required to maintain all necessary licenses, continuing education, and state-specific renewal obligations.
• Must undergo a background investigation.
• Must have a dedicated workspace free from distractions.
• Minimum internet speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload are required.
• Must have an appropriate work surface and seating arrangement.
• Home office must be located within the United States; this position is not available to residents of Washington, California, Alaska, and Hawaii.
