Vietnamese Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate effective communication between speakers of Vietnamese and English.

• Process information promptly and accurately while maintaining professionalism.

• Handle calls in a professional manner, adhering to the interpreter’s code of conduct.

• Possess familiarity with industry-specific terminology, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Engage in internal professional development training sessions.

• Communicate and provide reports to the team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese.

• Must be located in the United States.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in interpretation.

• Strong listening, retention, and note-taking abilities.

• Capable of conveying accurate concepts and meanings in accordance with established interpretation standards, avoiding any omissions or additions.

• Ability to clarify specific cultural concepts to prevent misunderstandings, with consent or at the client's request.

• 90% proficiency in English.

• Reliable wired internet connection.

• USB wired headset required.

• Must use Windows 10 or Mac operating systems.

• A quiet and secure workspace is essential.

• Language testing and background checks may be necessary depending on location.
