Video Quality Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and analyze the quality of digital video and audio.

• Resolve issues related to video and system playback.

• Recognize patterns and suggest both immediate and long-term solutions.

• Act swiftly and effectively in response to technical challenges.

• Assist with video quality operations in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

• Collaborate with subscription video content services and their product offerings.

• Become a part of Welocalize’s Ireland team, which supports AI-driven multilingual content solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in British Sign Language (BSL) is mandatory.

• Robust technical knowledge of video and previous experience in video editing.

• Enthusiasm for digital video and familiarity with the film and television sector.

• Comprehensive understanding of common technical challenges in digital video and audio.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in working with digital video.

• Capability to troubleshoot video and system playback issues while identifying trends.

• Ability to recommend both short-term and long-term solutions.

• Proven history of prompt and effective responses to technical issues.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of subscription video content services and their product offerings.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications.

• Valid work authorization for Ireland, with no sponsorship required.

• Willingness to work shifts from Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday during Irish Standard Time.

• Professional or advanced proficiency in an additional language is preferred but not essential.
