This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
β’ Oversee several intricate and dynamic video projects concurrently, managing them from the pre-production stage through to post-production.
β’ Work closely with the creative team, producers, and capture team to brainstorm and deliver high-quality trailers tailored for various platforms and purposes.
β’ Incorporate sound design, music, and voice-over components to amplify the emotional resonance of each trailer.
β’ Collaborate with the graphics team to integrate visual effects and motion graphics that emphasize critical moments, dialogue, and character expressions.
β’ Expertise in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
β’ Demonstrated experience in editing trailers.
β’ A robust portfolio showcasing a profound understanding of storytelling, pacing, and action-oriented editing.
β’ Experience in integrating visual effects and sound design.
β’ Strong understanding of narrative structure, pacing, and emotional tone in trailer editing.
β’ Background in editing trailers for video games or cinematic projects (preferred).
β’ Familiarity with multiplayer games, RPGs, and FPS titles (preferred).
β’ A passion for video games and storytelling (preferred).
β’ Outstanding communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly (preferred).
β’ Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented production environment (preferred).
