This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +8 more states.
• Manage overall operations for all offices within a designated area.
• Develop and ensure adherence to best practices, claims management service standards, state regulations, and client service expectations.
• Create business plans with specific goals and objectives for the area and its offices.
• Monitor management reports regarding area/office performance and take necessary actions.
• Assist in coordinating sales and client service initiatives.
• Address staffing and training needs in assigned offices.
• Facilitate staff development, career growth, and succession planning.
• Prepare budgets and oversee profit and loss for assigned locations.
• Implement company personnel policies while adhering to staffing standards and training recommendations.
• Conduct interviews, hire personnel, and develop colleague performance enhancement plans.
• Perform colleague performance evaluations.
• Provide support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to staff.
• Promote the organization's quality programs.
• Travel as necessary.
• Carry out other assigned duties.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Preferred: CPCU, ARM, AIM, and/or AIC certifications.
• Licenses as required.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• At least five (5) years of supervisory experience.
• Strong technical knowledge in claims management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
• Proficient in PC usage, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Possess leadership, management, and motivational skills.
• Strong analytical and interpretive capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
