This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Drive overall business performance throughout North America by aligning commercial strategies, portfolio priorities, customer investments, and organizational capabilities.
• Build a high-performing organization through talent development, succession planning, organizational transformation, and accountability.
• Create strategic alignment across functions through effective communication, trust, shared accountability, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Represent Teleflex in a professional and ethical manner to enhance customer experiences, brand reputation, and relationships.
• Lead go-to-market execution, customer segmentation, key account initiatives, sales-force effectiveness, digital tools, analytics, and channel optimization.
• Identify and prioritize process and performance gaps to drive sustained improvements.
• Serve on the Surgical Leadership Team and contribute to both short- and long-term business strategies.
• Evolve organizational structures, capabilities, and operating models to facilitate strategic growth.
• Provide commercial leadership across Sales and Training while collaborating with R&D, Regulatory, Human Resources, Finance, Operations, Clinical, and Medical Affairs.
• Optimize pricing strategies, gross margins, demand planning, commercial execution, and sales-force effectiveness.
• Evaluate new technologies and M&A opportunities, including testing, validation, due diligence, valuation, and investment recommendations.
• Build executive relationships with health systems, GPOs, distributors, professional societies, and key opinion leaders.
• Monitor competitors and market dynamics, translating insights into actionable strategies.
• A minimum of 15 years of progressive commercial leadership experience in the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences sector.
• Significant leadership responsibility across both Sales and Marketing functions.
• Proven success in leading a multi-functional commercial organization with P&L accountability.
• Demonstrated history of accelerating growth through strategic marketing, commercial transformation, and successful product commercialization.
• A BS/BA in Business Administration or a related field is required.
• Capability to lead organizations through business transformation, organizational redesign, integration, or significant change initiatives.
• Ability to synthesize clinical, financial, and market insights into strategic business decisions.
• Experience in leading and developing senior leaders across multiple commercial functions.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality work while meeting strict deadlines at a senior executive level.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high degree of diplomacy.
• Ability to manage multiple strategic priorities and execute effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the capacity to manage ambiguity and drive results.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead, influence, and align teams across a highly matrixed global organization.
• Strong business acumen, including a focus on profitability and knowledge of market and competition.
• Ability to operate within approved budgets, develop cost-saving measures, and contribute to profits and revenue.
• An MBA or advanced degree is preferable.
