This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee the creation of strategic initiatives for Specialty divisions catering to pharmaceutical manufacturers and community-based provider offices.
• Establish connections across various business strategies when applicable.
• Spearhead the development and creation of top-tier content that supports strategic proposals.
• Anticipate shifts in the industry landscape and build consensus around these changes.
• Identify gaps in the portfolio and capabilities necessary for scaling to define strategic direction.
• Lead or assist in all stages of business case development, including market analysis, value propositions, strategic alignment, economic modeling, and product launches.
• Seek out, cultivate, and sustain a pipeline of strategic opportunities.
• Manage business unit merger and acquisition processes in collaboration with Corporate Development.
• Maintain involvement in acquisitions after integration to ensure long-term sustainability.
• Provide counsel to Specialty business leaders and work together on strategic objectives and direction.
• Lead, recruit, mentor, develop, and manage the Strategy and Business Development team.
• Promote a culture of accountability, growth, collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
• Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Business Development for the Pharmaceutical Segment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business is required.
• A Master’s degree in business or a related field is highly preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in strategic roles is preferred.
• Experience in Biopharma Services, including patient access HUB services, real-world data/evidence, 3PL, or similar biopharma service offerings, or related functions within pharmaceutical companies.
• Strong comprehension of purchasing decision-making processes for HUB services, RWE, 3PL, and other related biopharma services.
• Previous experience on the healthcare provider side is preferred.
• Prior consulting experience within healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical manufacturers is preferred.
• Robust understanding of strategic thinking, business acumen, and analytical techniques.
• Proven familiarity and comprehension of the strategic landscape and competitive dynamics for specialty pharmaceuticals and related healthcare services.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or partnership development is preferred.
• A strategic thinker capable of formulating actionable, high-value strategies.
• A collaborator who can leverage resources and capabilities across teams.
• An influential leader and trusted advisor with utmost integrity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.

• Expected travel: 10%.
