Vice President, Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert on particular US real estate markets and property sectors.

• Communicate market insights with clients and internal stakeholders, which include the Investment Committee, acquisitions officers, asset managers, and portfolio managers.

• Create comprehensive market analyses for potential acquisitions that encompass supply, demand, rent growth, market positioning, and local economic trends.

• Integrate macroeconomic, capital market, and property sector data to develop investment strategies and recommendations.

• Assist in the design and development of quantitative models for proprietary and third-party datasets in collaboration with the LaSalle Quants team.

• Generate white papers, market analyses, and presentations for clients.

• Mentor junior analysts and summer interns, contributing to their professional growth.

• Impact the firm’s market perspectives and investment strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Excel, with advanced skills in statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.

• Familiarity with modern data science tools such as Databricks and Python is advantageous.

• Experience in forecast modeling is a plus.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in real estate investment research or a related field is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in business, economics, urban planning, or a related field is preferred.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Strong analytical skills are essential.

• Capability to transform research into actionable investment insights.

• Proficient at simplifying complex information into clear, concise narratives.

• Ability to link research findings to investment performance, risk, and return.
