Vice President, Senior Claims Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the claims process, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and advocating for client interests.

• Supervise medium to large or intricate P&C claims from the initial report to settlement.

• Manage claims status and liaise with brokers, carriers, adjusters, legal counsel, and internal teams.

• Analyze policy language, interpret coverage, and identify opportunities to enhance recovery or minimize claim expenses.

• Negotiate with adjusters and carriers regarding reserve reductions, settlements, and coverage disagreements.

• Formulate and execute strategic plans for claim resolution.

• Ensure accurate and organized maintenance of claim files.

• Compile claim reviews, summaries, and analyses.

• Update agency management systems and guarantee data integrity.

• Collaborate with risk advisors, internal brokers/managers, and the sales team to align claim strategies with business goals and risk management priorities.

• Create training materials and participate in improvements to the claims process.

• Keep up-to-date with changes in the industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) broker/agent license or the ability to obtain one.

• Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

• 5–8+ years of experience in brokerage, carrier, or claims adjustment positions.

• Comprehensive understanding of P&C coverage, risk management, and claims processes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple claims simultaneously and meet deadlines.
