This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for the entire Elsevier Health Education portfolio, which encompasses both existing products and new launches.
• Develop market intelligence related to the health education field and assess competitive positioning.
• Articulate value propositions tailored for institutional buyers and individual learners.
• Lead members of the product marketing team focused on key product lines.
• Establish launch processes and standards for field enablement.
• Collaborate with the Education Business Unit leadership on roadmap feedback, launch preparedness, and commercial strategies.
• Create sales enablement materials such as collateral, case studies, and competitive battle cards.
• Work in partnership with Customer Success.
• Define and report on marketing-influenced metrics for the portfolio, including adoption, renewal, expansion, and student engagement.
• Develop an engaging narrative for Elsevier Health Education targeted at institutions, faculty, and students.
• Report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer of Elsevier Health.
• Contribute to both the Global Health Marketing Leadership team and the Elsevier Healthcare Education Leadership team.
• Over 12 years of experience in product marketing.
• At least 3 years in a senior leadership position with direct reports.
• A robust background in healthcare education, edtech, or professional learning.
• Demonstrated capability to create differentiated positioning in competitive, content-rich markets.
• Experience in both institutional B2B and individual B2C marketing approaches.
• Strong collaboration skills across Product, Sales, and Business Unit leadership.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills.
• Proven success in launching products within the education technology or professional development sectors.
• Previous experience in an edtech or health education organization.
• Comprehensive understanding of nursing and medical education pathways and institutional learning platform selection processes.
• Familiarity with AI-driven learning tools, such as spaced repetition, adaptive testing, and clinical simulation.
• Experience working in both US and international markets.
