This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for the entire Elsevier Health Education portfolio, encompassing both existing products and new launches.
• Develop market insights regarding the health education landscape and competitive positioning.
• Create value propositions tailored for institutional buyers and individual learners.
• Lead a team of product marketers focused on key product lines.
• Establish processes for product launches and set standards for field enablement.
• Collaborate with the Education BU leadership on roadmap input, launch readiness, and commercial strategies.
• Create sales enablement materials, case studies, and competitive battle cards.
• Work closely with the Customer Success team.
• Define and track marketing-influenced metrics such as adoption, renewal, expansion, and student engagement.
• Craft a compelling narrative for Elsevier Health Education aimed at institutions, faculty, and students.
• Report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer of Elsevier Health.
• Participate in the Global Health Marketing Leadership team and the Elsevier Healthcare Education Leadership team.
• Over 12 years of experience in product marketing.
• A minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership position managing direct reports.
• Strong expertise in healthcare education, edtech, or professional learning fields.
• Knowledge of purchasing behaviors of academic institutions and engagement methods of learners.
• Demonstrated capability to create differentiated positioning in competitive, content-rich environments.
• Experience in both institutional B2B and individual B2C marketing strategies.
• Cross-functional experience collaborating with Product, Sales, and Business Unit leadership.
• Exceptional ability in written storytelling.
• Proven history of successfully launching products in education technology or professional development sectors.
• Previous experience in an edtech or health education organization.
• In-depth knowledge of the nursing and medical education pipeline and the selection of institutional learning platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-powered learning tools, including spaced repetition, adaptive testing, and clinical simulation.
• Experience with both U.S. and international markets.
