This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Act as the main procurement and supply chain liaison for Data Center Operations, Regional COOs, operational leadership, and site management.
• Convert operational needs into commercial frameworks, supplier strategies, and service delivery models.
• Assist in global and regional procurement and supply chain-enabled services for data center operations.
• Oversee global and regional service contracts related to maintenance, facilities management, security, technical services, and associated operational services.
• Structure, negotiate, and oversee global master service agreements and regional contracts with SLAs, escalation processes, and accountability mechanisms.
• Balance global standardization with regional adaptability across multi-region, high-availability settings.
• Implement commercial strategies that optimize costs, enhance supplier performance, and manage risk allocation.
• Lead supplier performance governance, which includes conducting Quarterly Business Reviews and Strategic Business Reviews.
• Define and monitor supplier KPIs for availability, uptime, response and recovery times, SLA compliance, quality, and service delivery.
• Promote continuous improvement among suppliers using performance data, benchmarking, and contractual tools.
• Manage the procurement process for repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance services.
• Execute strategies for critical spare parts, including inventory management, stocking, supplier frameworks, and rapid fulfillment.
• Ensure 24/7 emergency response capability and assist with major incidents through supplier mobilization and enforcement of contracts.
• Integrate customer-facing SLAs into supplier contracts and service delivery frameworks.
• Oversee procurement execution for data center security services, encompassing both physical and technical security systems.
• Manage equipment end-of-life programs, including recycling, disposal, reuse, and refurbishment initiatives.
• Govern asset tracking, registries, configuration management, and the integration of maintenance/service history.
• Support expansions, capital projects, capacity enhancements, equipment upgrades, and retrofits while minimizing disruptions to ongoing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance, commercial frameworks, and service delivery models.
• Collaborate with Operations, COOs, site leadership, Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain, Security, Finance, Asset Management, service providers, and OEMs.
• Execute additional tasks as directed by Management.
• Over 15 years of leadership experience in procurement, supply chain, and infrastructure services.
• Demonstrated experience managing global service agreements and supplier performance frameworks, including QBRs and SBRs.
• Strong history of supporting operational organizations in uptime-critical environments.
• In-depth understanding of data center systems and lifecycle service requirements.
• Experience working in multi-region, high-availability environments.
• Capability to translate operational needs into procurement execution plans, commercial frameworks, supplier strategies, and service delivery models.
• Proven expertise in structuring, negotiating, and managing complex global and regional service contracts.
• Experience in managing supplier performance through KPIs, SLAs, benchmarking, performance data, and contractual levers.
• Strong knowledge of repair and maintenance, preventative maintenance, critical spares, emergency response, and service readiness in mission-critical settings.
• Background in supporting procurement strategies for data center security services, including physical security staff and technical security systems.
• Knowledge of equipment lifecycle management, end-of-life planning, recycling, reuse, refurbishment, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in enabling or governing asset tracking, lifecycle visibility, configuration management, and service history systems.
• Strong commercial acumen in optimizing costs, performance, risk allocation, and total cost of ownership.
• Ability to balance global standardization with regional flexibility across complex operational models.
• Proven capability to act as a strategic execution partner to Operations, Regional COOs, site leadership, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%, with potential for increased travel over time.
