This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive global People & Culture strategy that aligns with organizational goals and executive priorities.
• Act as a senior People & Culture advisor to executive leaders concerning organizational efficiency, workforce planning, leadership development, succession planning, and people-related risks.
• Spearhead company-wide people transformation initiatives.
• Manage and mentor Senior HR Business Partners.
• Ensure consistency in people policies, performance management, talent practices, and employee relations frameworks.
• Oversee workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning, and the development of leadership pipelines.
• Establish frameworks for competencies and skills.
• Direct the annual performance management cycle.
• Lead global People Operations and provide employee support services throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Promote process standardization, governance, continuous improvement, and the adoption of HR technologies.
• Advocate for engagement, recognition, wellbeing, inclusion, and belonging initiatives.
• Direct the strategy for compensation, benefits, and total rewards.
• Supervise compensation reviews, job architecture, salary structures, and benefits programs.
• Collaborate with Finance on workforce budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning.
• Establish and uphold global people governance and compliance frameworks.
• Oversee HR compliance programs, audits, policy governance, records management, and risk mitigation.
• Provide oversight for health, safety, occupational health, and governance related to employee wellbeing.
• Work with Finance on employee lifecycle events, workforce data, compensation changes, and benefits transactions.
• Utilize people analytics and workforce insights to enhance decision-making and organizational performance.
• Manage HR technologies and people systems, ensuring workforce data quality, privacy, and compliance.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global People & Culture team.
• Supervise Senior HR Business Partners, the Senior Manager - Benefits & Compensation, and the Manager - People & Culture Operations.
• A Master’s degree or international equivalent in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
• More than 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• At least 5 years of experience leading multiple global/international HR functions.
• Demonstrated success in leading HR in global, multi-region organizations of similar size (1,500–5,000 employees).
• Experience in guiding organizations through transitions, restructuring, or HR transformations.
• Extensive knowledge of global employment practices, compliance, HR operations, and contemporary talent strategies.
• Strong financial acumen and experience collaborating with Finance on workforce modeling and cost planning.
• Ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on leadership in a lean or evolving HR environment.
• A background in professional services, technology, shared services, or other global, matrixed settings.
• Willingness to accommodate occasional schedule flexibility for collaboration across regions.
• Must possess the right to live and work in the United States.
• SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or global HR credentials are preferred.
