This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as a reliable advisor to business leaders, converting business needs into actionable people solutions.
β’ Collaborate with leaders on organizational effectiveness, team structures, roles, reporting relationships, workforce requirements, and organizational transformations.
β’ Assist in talent and organizational decision-making, taking into account business objectives, employee impact, costs, risks, and long-term effectiveness.
β’ Oversee people-related planning and execution for organizational transformations.
β’ Guide leaders through performance management issues and performance-related concerns.
β’ Create and support performance improvement plans along with necessary documentation.
β’ Manage and resolve employee relations issues, workplace disputes, policy matters, investigations, disciplinary actions, and intricate employee situations.
β’ Conduct workplace investigations and offer recommendations based on facts, business context, policies, and risk assessments.
β’ Assist leaders in differentiating between performance, capability, behavior, role clarity, organizational, and management issues.
β’ Provide straightforward advice and constructive challenges to leaders.
β’ Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Operations, HRIS, Legal, and other People Team functions.
β’ Identify recurring organizational patterns and suggest actions to enhance leader effectiveness, employee experience, and business results.
β’ Support broader People Team initiatives and objectives.
β’ Maintain accountability and ensure follow-through from initial assessment to execution and resolution.
β’ Strong business insight and the ability to link people and organizational decisions to business outcomes.
β’ Extensive knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices.
β’ Proven ability to advise and influence leaders on complex and sensitive people issues.
β’ Excellent consultative and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Capability to thoughtfully assess risk while balancing legal, employee, and business considerations.
β’ Experience in organizational design, workforce planning, organizational change, and talent decisions.
β’ Strong judgment and effective decision-making skills in uncertain situations.
β’ Ability to transition between strategic consultation and practical execution.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle difficult conversations.
β’ High level of ownership, discretion, and follow-through.
β’ Capability to manage multiple priorities and sensitive issues in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
β’ Proficiency with HCM systems; experience with Workday is preferred.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience focusing on business partnership and employee relations.
β’ Experience supporting employees and leaders in both the United States and Canada is highly preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Canadian employment practices and provincial employment standards is strongly preferred.
β’ Demonstrated experience in advising and influencing business leaders on complex people decisions.
β’ Experience in supporting organizational change, workforce planning, or organizational effectiveness initiatives is preferred.
β’ Background in a fast-paced, evolving, or decentralized business environment is preferred.
β’ HR certification such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CHRP, or CHRL is preferred.
