Vice President of Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and guide a worldwide team of engineers developing an AI-powered offensive security platform

• Report directly to the CTO and work closely with product management

• Implement technology initiatives that align with the company's aggressive growth objectives

• Recruit, oversee, mentor, and coach engineers on a global scale

• Take responsibility for enhancing existing products and creating innovative solutions

• Collaborate with senior leadership on initiatives that span across various functions

• Oversee the platform's technical vision and architecture, ensuring scalability, stability, and resilience

• Encourage innovation and experimentation within the team

• Set standards for quality, efficiency, and security

• Propel engineering design, architecture, and development best practices

• Formulate and manage strategies to enhance engineering quality and efficiency through AI technologies, coding best practices, and agile methodologies

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline

• 15 years of experience in software development, including 5 years focused on creating SaaS cybersecurity products

• Extensive experience in multi-cloud engineering

• Proficient in establishing engineering standards and best practices for AI-assisted software development, including tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or other similar AI coding assistants

• Proven track record in promoting the adoption of AI-powered developer tools and modern engineering methodologies

• Familiarity with Secure SDL best practices and experience in building DevOps/DevSecOps teams

• Experience in leading distributed international engineering teams

• Excellent internal and external communication skills; adept at collaborating with diverse business functions

• High emotional intelligence, flexibility, and comfort with evolving situations

• Demonstrated capability to effectively manage and scale engineering teams

• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript (React)

• Knowledge of Node.js, cloud environments, GCP, and Kubernetes is advantageous

• Proven record of recruiting, mentoring, and retaining top talent

• Demonstrated ability to excel in a high-autonomy and high-responsibility environment
