This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.
• Establish, nurture, and expand relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and C-suite executives regarding employee benefits at Fidelity's institutional clients.
• Lead and collaborate with internal service associates and business partners to address client challenges and deliver consultative solutions.
• Assist clients in successfully managing Benefits and Total Wellness programs.
• Utilize a consultative approach to comprehend client business needs and pertinent issues.
• Gather feedback, foresee potential issues, and proactively offer solutions.
• Set the strategic direction for client relationships while acting as a trusted advisor.
• Engage with client decision makers and advisors/consultants to identify needs and opportunities.
• Monitor client business, competition, industry trends, and changes in the marketplace.
• Design and facilitate strategic planning and service review meetings, either virtually or in person.
• Position products and solutions that align with clients’ benefits objectives.
• Lead discussions regarding legal, regulatory, and plan design considerations.
• Provide consultation on both qualified and potentially non-qualified plan design options.
• Collaborate with consultants on inquiries, presentations, plan design, products, technology, client concerns, fund changes, pricing, analytics, and related matters.
• Build enduring relationships with consultants and advisors.
• Foster collaborative relationships across Fidelity business partners and guide internal problem resolution.
• Develop customer-focused relationship management strategies and business plans tailored to each client.
• Lead a diverse multi-product offering from Fidelity.
• Differentiate Fidelity’s benefits strategy from competing solutions.
• Lead discussions regarding pricing and fees.
• Collaborate with service teams on fiduciary responsibilities, participant communications, and educational strategies.
• Advocate for clients while maintaining sound financial judgment and Fidelity’s long-term interests.
• Analyze and advise on the needs of both internal and external customers.
• Navigate challenging client interactions and resolve complex business challenges.
• Associate must possess Series 7 and 63 licenses.
• At least 8 years of experience in Relationship Management or Client Service is preferred, ideally within the Retirement/401K sector.
• Experience in Health and Welfare, Defined Benefits, and Stock Plan Services administration is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Exceptional presentation, influence, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Capable of demonstrating an executive presence.
