This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement LandSolutions' growth strategy in the U.S. across key markets, sectors, service lines, and client accounts.
• Discover, cultivate, and secure new client and market opportunities.
• Foster relationships with senior decision-makers, positioning LandSolutions as a reliable partner.
• Create strategic account plans and pursuit strategies for sustainable and profitable growth.
• Maintain a qualified sales pipeline and ensure visibility into opportunities, forecasts, risks, and priorities.
• Collaborate with Operations and Finance to align opportunities with delivery capacity, commercial expectations, and margin goals.
• Lead and mentor the U.S. business development team.
• Develop scalable methods for account planning, pipeline management, opportunity qualification, CRM utilization, forecasting, and pursuit management.
• Establish a repeatable growth model and ensure accountability across business development, operations, finance, marketing, and executive leadership.
• Identify new markets, expanded service offerings, strategic partnerships, alliances, and acquisition prospects.
• Engage in selected U.S.-Canadian cross-border opportunities.
• Contribute to enterprise strategic planning and long-term growth initiatives.
• Assist in defining the marketing and growth-enablement strategy for U.S. expansion.
• Craft a client-focused sales narrative for pursuits and market-facing efforts.
• Guide industry presence, thought leadership, conferences, target-account campaigns, and pursuit materials.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to concentrate marketing investments on commercial growth.
• Establish a systematic U.S. growth engine, enhance the pipeline, advance strategic accounts, improve forecasting and CRM practices, develop the U.S. business development team, and support future growth strategies.
• Proven track record in developing new markets and securing new business, including establishing senior client relationships from scratch.
• Extensive experience in long-cycle, relationship-focused, multi-stakeholder B2B sales.
• Relevant industry background in right-of-way, land services, utilities, infrastructure, engineering, environmental services, energy, or a closely related consulting/professional services sector.
• Possess executive-level credibility and the ability to engage effectively with senior clients and internal leadership.
• Experience in developing and executing market, account, and business development strategies.
• Strong commercial acumen, including opportunity qualification, pipeline oversight, forecasting, and pursuit strategies.
• Experience in building, mentoring, and developing business development professionals and seller-doers.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with execution and personally engage new clients.
• Familiarity with marketing, industry presence, thought leadership, and account-based campaigns supporting business development.
• Experience in contributing to enterprise strategy, partnerships, and broader value-creation initiatives.
• M&A-related experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
