This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement LandSolutions' growth strategy in the U.S. across key markets, sectors, service lines, and accounts.
• Discover, cultivate, and secure new client and market opportunities.
• Foster relationships with senior decision-makers to position LandSolutions as a reliable partner.
• Create strategic account and pursuit plans aimed at achieving sustainable and profitable growth.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and ensure transparency regarding opportunities, forecasts, risks, and priorities.
• Collaborate with Operations and Finance to align growth opportunities with delivery capacity, commercial expectations, and margin targets.
• Lead and mentor the U.S. business development team.
• Develop scalable methods for account planning, pipeline management, opportunity qualification, CRM utilization, forecasting, and pursuit management.
• Define roles and responsibilities across business development, operations, finance, marketing, and executive leadership during significant pursuits.
• Explore new markets, expanded service offerings, strategic partnerships, alliances, and acquisition possibilities.
• Engage in selected cross-border opportunities involving capabilities from the U.S. and Canada.
• Contribute to enterprise strategic planning and long-term growth initiatives.
• Formulate marketing and growth-enablement strategies to support U.S. expansion.
• Craft a client-focused sales narrative for pursuits and market-facing activities.
• Enhance industry presence, thought leadership, conferences, target-account campaigns, and pursuit materials.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to align marketing investments with commercial growth.
• Report directly to the CEO.
• Establish a structured U.S. growth engine, strengthen the qualified pipeline, advance strategic accounts, enhance forecasting and CRM discipline, develop the U.S. business development team, and aid in future market and growth decisions.
• Proven track record in building new markets and acquiring new business, including establishing senior client relationships from the ground up.
• Extensive experience in long-cycle, relationship-driven, multi-stakeholder B2B sales.
• Relevant industry experience in right-of-way, land services, utilities, infrastructure, engineering, environmental services, energy, or a closely related consulting/professional services sector.
• Executive-level credibility with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior clients and internal leadership.
• Experience in developing and executing market, account, and business development strategies.
• Strong commercial acumen, including opportunity qualification, pipeline management, forecasting, and pursuit strategy.
• Experience in building, mentoring, and developing business development professionals and seller-doers.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with execution while personally engaging with prospective clients.
• Understanding of marketing, industry presence, thought leadership, and account-based campaigns as support for business development.
• Experience in contributing to enterprise strategy, partnerships, and broader value-creation initiatives.
• M&A-related experience is an advantage but is not mandatory.
