This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance EVgo's global supply chain strategy, focusing on make/buy choices and total-cost-to-serve considerations.

• Establish the operating model and governance for the supply chain, encompassing demand planning, sourcing, procurement, and logistics.

• Communicate supply chain strategies, performance metrics, and risks to executive leadership.

• Act as the representative of EVgo's supply chain organization with external stakeholders, industry associations, and strategic vendors.

• Oversee integrated demand and supply planning, forecasting, S&OP, and IBP processes.

• Lead the development of statistical and analytical forecasting models while monitoring forecast accuracy, inventory investment, and service levels.

• Align planning activities with financial budgets, capital planning, and product launch schedules.

• Formulate sourcing strategies and manage procurement operations, including supplier quoting and negotiations on pricing and delivery.

• Guide supplier relationship management, performance governance, business reviews, scorecards, and escalation of issues.

• Collaborate with Legal and Finance on commercial terms, contracts, and supplier risk management.

• Direct distribution, warehousing, and transportation operations.

• Manage enterprise inventory strategy, including stocking policies, safety stock, buffer positioning, and inventory investments.

• Promote continuous improvement and automation in logistics and inventory processes.

• Monitor and address component, supplier, and logistics risks while developing contingency plans.

• Build, lead, and nurture the supply chain leadership team.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Construction, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.

• Oversee the budget and operational performance of the supply chain function.

• Define talent strategies, organizational structure, hiring priorities, succession plans, performance expectations, and development programs.

• Carry out additional duties and special projects as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 15+ years of relevant experience in supply chain management.

• A minimum of 8+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing supply chain, planning, sourcing, or logistics functions, or equivalent experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related area; an MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain Management is preferred.

• Experience in the electric vehicle, automotive, or high-tech distribution sectors.

• APICS or an equivalent supply chain certification.

• Proven experience in establishing or scaling a demand planning, S&OP, or IBP function within a high-growth setting.

• Equivalent technical education or training in a related field is acceptable in place of a formal degree.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement enterprise-scale supply chain strategies across demand and supply planning, sourcing, procurement, and logistics.

• A strong history of building and leading cross-functional teams and managing influence across departments and with external partners.

• Excellent analytical skills, including proficiency in forecasting and optimization models.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% for supplier, distribution, and cross-functional site engagements.
